The economic model and urban expansion in the Donostia-SanSebastián region and the Texcoco region

The investigation presents research from the Donostia-San Sebastián region, the Basque Country,
Spain and the Texcoco region, and also expresses its main problems of the economic model and urban
expansion. They are two regions of the globalized world, where the urban presents particularities such
as regions/provinces, which are different in each region, which allows the study of local and regional
processes based on different references and conditions in the globalized world. It is research with a
qualitative and quantitative approach, which is supported by the deductive method and the type of
research is a case study, supported with the objective of the research that refers to the comparative
analysis of the Donostia-San Sebastián region and the region. Texcoco in the urban area, which
contributes to generating new knowledge in two regions of the globalized world.
