The development of underdevelopment: imperialistinfluences and current economic dogmas

Abstract

The objective of this article is to discuss the concept of the underdevelopment based
in the theoretical analyzes. The main idea is that underdevelopment is not a state
of transition, is not a starting point, but rather a way of being, without which the
development of the central areas cannot occur or be maintained. More comprehensively,
the underdevelopment is a process that has its origins in the European imperialism,
which reproduces misery, exploitation and the replacement of real people by the
economic dogmas promoted by the financial community of the central areas.
