Abstract

The history of sexual violence is part of what they say, stories of family secrets, stories of private life and the
silences that are kept behind locks to protect the principles of honor, understood as a great symbolic capital of
girls and adolescents. . and women. As González (2020) states, citing Vigarello (1999), rape is an act of sexual
violence that attacks, ultimately, the body of the victims, but it is also a psychological violence that imposes and
seals the image of sin and trauma; Rape is an ancient violence that judges and condemns the victims themselves,
with the ambivalence of reprimand and dissimulation.
This article takes a look at the topic of sexual violence, from the perspective of feminist studies. To
understand the exercise of constituting regulations and laws for the care, protection and monitoring of infants
in the state of Veracruz, a brief outline of the feminist legal work in that federal entity is made, which goes
from the last decade of the 20th century to the present. Following the theoretical approach, research by experts
on the subject that has made sexual violence against girls and adolescents visible is mentioned, including the
work carried out in 2014, in the region called Totonacapan de la Costa or also known as the North Central
Metropolitan Zone of Veracruz. (ZMCNV) –with the municipalities of Poza Rica and other bordering ones:
Papantla, Tihuatlán and Coatzintla–. As part of the methodological route in child care, the indications that
various international and national organizations present are also added, in relation to the care of children and
adolescents, in the monitoring of incidents on the situation of violence against infants, since , despite the legal
narratives that ensure the defense of girls and adolescents, the problem of sexual violence remains and becomes
more complex.
With unflattering reports, reality confronts a kind of adverse mood that, far from making visible
a transformation in the violent behavior of the subjects of crime, the problem becomes more complex with
others of greater caliber: human trafficking, disappearances, femicides, etc. Currently, research is shifting from
sexual violence to Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE), as a prevention strategy, working with girls and
boys between 9 and 12 years old, in primary basic education classroom spaces in an area. peri-urban between
the municipalities of Poza Rica and Coatzintla, Veracruz. The methodology from the ESI recognizes the need
for communication towards a humanistic sense of self-care and affection, information about gender with body
care and the sense of pleasure in life, changing the old biologicalist scheme of reproduction, as the only axis of
comprehensive sexual education. For purposes of approaching the knowledge that girls and boys have regarding
sexuality, a survey was carried out to measure the impact of information on the topic. The questionnaire design
integrates 35 items with questions related to emotional bonds, gender, body-pleasure-communication. With this
first approach with girls and boys, we seek to deepen the experience of this knowledge route with boys and girls
that provides them with theoretical knowledge, but also a sense of co-responsibility for their own sexuality.
